Your first visit includes digital X-rays, oral cancer screening, airway evaluation, and a personalized care plan. We'll take the time to get to know your dental history and explain everything we find.

Please note: a dental cleaning is scheduled as a follow-up visit after your exam.

Common questions

  • Please have recent X-rays from a previous dentist e-mailed to us ahead of time. We'll take new digital X-rays at your visit as needed. Please bring any retainers, a night guard, or other oral appliances. Arrive 10 minutes early to complete intake forms, or we can e-mail them to you in advance.

  • We work with most PPO dental insurance plans, including Delta Dental, Cigna, Aetna, MetLife, and many others. We're happy to verify your benefits before your visit — just call us at (650) 532-3092 or email hi@youngdentalgroup.com with your insurance information and we'll check for you.   • We do our best to accommodate new patients as quickly as possible, and same-week appointments are often available. Once you submit your booking request, a member of our care team will confirm your appointment time by phone or email within one business day.

  • Life happens — we get it. Please give us a call at (650) 532-3092 or email hi@youngdentalgroup.com at least 48 hours before your appointment so we can offer your slot to another patient. We'll get you rescheduled as quickly as possible.

  • Completely okay — you're not alone, and our team is very experienced with anxious patients. We take our time, explain every step before we do it, and never rush. If there's anything specific that makes you nervous, just let us know when you call or book and we'll make sure your visit feels as comfortable as possible.
