DENTIST
Dr. Ashley Chan is proud to serve the community she grew up in. A San Mateo native, she attended North Hillsborough Elementary School, Crocker Middle School, and Aragon High School before earning her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from UC Irvine. Her journey into dentistry began as Dr. Dely Young and Dr. Chrystle Cu’s dental assistant—an experience that inspired her to pursue her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.
Passionate about enhancing quality of life through better oral health, Dr. Chan is dedicated to educating her patients and empowering them to achieve confident, healthy smiles.
Outside the office, Dr. Chan loves exploring new cultures and cuisines. Some of her favorite trips have taken her to Myanmar, Morocco, and Italy—but her favorite place in the world is Maui. She doesn’t have pets or kids yet, but she is a certified plant-mom.

Dr. Annie Mach was born and raised in the San Jose. She received her B.S. in Molecular Environmental Biology at UC Berkeley (Go Bears!) and her D.M.D. at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. After having been on the East Coast for a few years, she is glad to be back in the Bay to provide care to this wonderful community.
Dr. Mach loves spending time with her happy toddler boy and energetic baby girl. Outside of that she enjoys cooking, traveling to new places, eating great food, and snowboarding.

Dr. Nimrit (Nimi) Gill is a Bay Area native where she attended Challenger School and Presentation High School. She received her B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of the Pacific and her D.D.S. from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco.
In her free time, Dr. Gill enjoys spending time with her young son and family, following Bay Area sports, trivia and working out.

Lina is our office prevention police. She loves to share her knowledge of how a healthy life correlates with a healthy smile.
When asked to describe herself, Lina stated, “I love dogs.”

Dr. Chrystle Cu is passionate about preventive oral health care and patient education. She and her sister co-founded Cocolab, an oral-wellness company born from their mission to make flossing fun and effective. What began as a passion project has grown into a movement that helps people everywhere enjoy healthier, disease-free smiles. Though Dr. Cu is not currently seeing patients, she continues to champion oral health innovation—one flosser at a time.

Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, Dr. Dely Young earned her D.M.D. from the University of the East College of Dentistry before making San Mateo her home in 1985. That same year, she founded Young Dental Group—a practice built on compassion, education, and a love for creating beautiful, functional smiles. Her early passion for orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics shaped the comprehensive care philosophy that still guides our team today.
Dr. Young continues to share her wisdom and mentorship with Young Dental Group. When she’s not inspiring future generations of dentists, she cherishes time with her grandchildren.

Tevy is one of our hygiene therapist that blesses us with her presence seasonally! In the summer, just like the sun, Tevy makes the practice shine bright too.
